Description

This coffee table "Pepper Young" was designed by Philippe Starck for the Spanish company Disform. He created this table in 1978. The name of this model was directly borrowed from a character in Philip K. Dick's science fiction novel "Ubik". This book was very important in the designer's life, fascinated by the vision of modernity that emerges from it, the work did not only inspire him in the way of naming his works but also in their structures. He later named his creative studio Ubik. You can also find a second version of this table, which offered a round top or gray lacquered legs.
