Description

This floor lamp was created by Cesare Leonardi and Francesca Stagi for the Italian publishing house Lumenform in 1971. This couple is famous for their work in the field of product, interior, and landscape design. Their work is characterized by a unique combination of simple shapes and modern materials. The floor lamp is part of the Italian minimal design movement. This movement was born in the 1950s and is characterized by the use of clean lines, neutral colors, natural materials such as wood, leather, and marble, as well as the absence of superfluous ornamentation. The shapes are often geometric and simple, with particular attention paid to proportions and balance.

The structure is made of flexible chrome-plated steel, finished at each end with a rubber ball. The chrome spotlights move along the rod thanks to two rubber wheels. The tension between the floor and the ceiling is enough to hold this minimalist floor lamp. In very good condition. Bulb reference: E27 (x2).
