Description

Iconic of the Steiner brand, the Zen armchair created in 1969 is a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Inspired by the Chinese culture, the Zen armchair will leave a mark in design history. As a branch of Buddhism in Japan, Zen encourages living in the present moment, emphasizing meditation from a seated posture.
Uncompromising on comfort, Kwok Hoï Chan sculpted the cantilevered frame in a tubular structure. This ingenuity gives the seat its flexibility. Although he favored the trendy chrome tube, he chose to conceal its metallic appearance under the fabric. Bold lines, standing 66 cm tall. Foam cushions. Webbed suspension, sliding on glides. Reupholstered in beige looped fabric.
