Tube chair by Joe Colombo for Cappellini, 2016.

It is one of the first modular chairs created by Joe Colombo, a famous Italian designer in the 1969's. He designed this piece as a set capable of combined aesthetic and practical dimensions. It comes in a burlap bag. The first edition was made by Flexform then reissued by Cappellini from 2016. The chair consist of 4 hollow tubes that fit into each other. PVC tubes covered with foam with an orange fabric. The tubes snap together easily with metal hooks that end with brown gumballs. They are interchangeable, adopting different positions: the user can move them and configure them according to his wishes as a low armchair, a high armchair, a chaise longue, a rest bed or separate poufs.… The Tube Chair offers more than sixteen different configurations.
