Description

The Pumpkin sofa by Pierre Paulin was created in 1971. It was designed for the private quarters of Claude and Georges Pompidou at the Palais de L'Elysée. Its design follows the guiding line taken by the French designer with its soft, organic curves. For this model, he drew inspiration from the pumpkin, using its shape to create a warm, protective seat. This model is still produced by Ligne Roset, which offers several variations of it (chaise longue, 3-seater sofa or pouf).

Its structure is composed of an assembly of foam on one side, the base and belt are made of polyether foam, while the seat and back are made of molded polyurethane foam reinforced by a sheet of the same foam. A fabric or leather cover is then laid over the surface. Post 2000 edition.

In very good condition, completely reupholstered in our workshop.
