Sofa bed D70 by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno. The Italian firm was founded by the Borsani twins in 1953. The following year he presented his first project for the firm at the Triennale, the D70, winning the Compasso d’oro for this creation considered a masterpiece. Tecno still publishes the model with the possibility of having a version with a chrome base. Its structure consists of a seat and backrest upholstered in polyurethane foam and covered with yellow fabric. This model has an opening system that works through a circular lever with teeth that locks into a plate on each side. It allows to fix the opening in the desired position. The base is in black metal. In very good condition, completely reupholstered in our workshop.
