Description

This "14104" or "Moonlight" floor lamp was designed by Ettore Sottsass for the Italian publishing house Arredoluce in 1971. This Italian designer was highly influential in the 20th century, challenging design conventions by using bright colours, bold geometric shapes and unexpected materials. His work has influenced designers around the world and continues to inspire contemporary design trends. This luminaire is part of the Space Age universe. This movement emerged in the 1960s in response to the space race, and is characterised by the use of bold geometric shapes and new materials to create a futuristic, utopian aesthetic. It has influenced many fields, from fashion to architecture and popular culture.

The floor lamp is made up of a cubic base in black metal and a body of four columns in white lacquered metal, allowing light to escape through side openings, revealing the internal structure. The light opening can be increased using two removable columns, revealing the internal structure. In very good condition, with a few visible marks.
