Description

Launched in 1972 by De Sede, the famous DS-600 sofa is distinguished by its modular individual elements. Popular and surprising with its organic shape, almost zoomorphic, this "serpent" sofa is a design icon. The rectangular base is covered in brown felt. Each element consists of a vintage L-shaped foam core. The structure is made of wood, and the seat and backrest are made of slices of foam filled with down and covered in camel leather. The modules are assembled using a system of metal hinges and invisible zippers. With its variable design, the DS-600 can be adapted to subjective configurations. It has been completely reupholstered.

Composition:

• Felt covering the base: 70% wool, 20% polyester, 5% polyamide and 5% other fibers. Abrasive resistance in ISO 12 974, 100 000 Martindale revolutions.
• Upholstery: Vintage foam
• Leather: Pull-Up, leather which, during their manufacture at the stage of the corroding of the skin received a higher rate of grease or oil. This process makes it possible to create soft, resistant leathers, especially to traction and easy to maintain.

Dimensions per module:
H: 74cm L:24cm P: 100cm
